Antigoni's Pizza Augusta: Reviews & Ratings
I've ordered pizza a few different times at Antigoni's Augusta. Love the flavors and texture of their crust, but the toppings are scarce. I would like to see them go to the edge of the crust a little more. Drive-thru is a plus as well as their friendly workers.
I absolutely love Antigoni's! The food is amazing. My favorites are the chicken gyro, the fries, and the chocolate peanut butter pie (especially after it's frozen). I especially love that this place is owned and run by a family. You can tell that they really love what they do and they love working together. They are kind, courteous, hard working, and even in the busiest times, they make you feel appreciated. The atmosphere is clean, laid back, friendly, and welcoming. It is also handicapped accessible. I live over an hour away now, but I still make a special trip down to this wonderful place as often as possible... and I'm never disappointed.
First off the pizza crust was so crispy and fluffy I thought about making an ASMR video. Toppings were fresh and plentiful. I'll be back for more!
I don't like olives and I ordered the Greek pizza and it has so many olives but dang this is the best olive pizza I have ever had. I really like it. The bread sticks are also really good. The last time I had the pizza with the gyro meat on it as well. This place never disappoints.
This is a really good place to get pizza and other things. My wife loves the Gyro. The pizza is really good and tasty. I'm only giving a 4 star because it's not my favorite crust. Don't get me wrong, it's good, just not my favorite.
First off.....LOVE THE FRIES. They are so perfect. Great crunch and flavor. I love that they are topped with Oregano. The pizza was very good. Fresh ingredients. I loved the thin crust. I should've asked for well done, but I also like charred crusts. Happy we found this place while passing through.
Update: 11/10/24. Food prices went up but portion sizes are big so definitely worth the price, food is really good. But customer service is pretty terrible minus Abbie and the woman with the accent who cooks at night, both of them are a pleasure but the rest of your crew needs customer service training. Service was slow today. It was busy so I understand but still slow. The woman's bathroom wasn't very clean. Rug was dirty, trash was completely full, etc. That's not a make it or break it for me, just an observation. Parking is okay here, not as bad as some places. Plenty of booths and tables everywhere to choose from which is nice. It's not your regular restaurant. You pay before you eat. They take cash or card. It's wheelchair accessible in the dining room, meaning plenty of space. The menu choices are pretty awesome, tons of odd choices. Prices are fair and reasonable. You leave completely full under fifty bucks for two people, which is cheaper than most places. While the service was mediocre today the two employees who deserve recognition is Roy Tisdale for one. He works harder than most people I know. He's fantastic in the kitchen. He deserves a raise or at least recognition. Addie is the second one. She's always polite and professional when we come in, I usually see her running the register. Always greets people and very business like, which is a compliment. I think she's been there a while as well and hopefully she is recognized for her attributes also. We had a large cheesy breadstick and a large house pizza. Very good pizza. Food is always very good. They have the best spaghetti and meatballs too, definitely recommend. Overall, 4 stars. Thank you for the great food! <3
Incredible food, everything we ordered was delicious and we ordered a lot. Carbonara was one of the best I have ever had. The beef gyro tasted just like the ones from the Greek restaurant I used to go to all the time. It's clear the owners have brought a Greek influence to the menu. Excellent staff and excellent food.
